There are plenty of shops and restaurants at walking distance and Artis and the Hortus Botanicus are around the corner. For a walk the Oosterpark and Sarphatipark are very nice.

This floor has an open layout, with the living room in the center and the fully equipped kitchen and dining area at the rear.
