The ‘Tweede van der Helststraat’ is a lively street between the Sarphatiepark and a cute square with many restaurants. There might be some weekend vibe noises coming from the street, but it’s not the centre of late party bars so you should be fine.The street: across the street a popular wine bar, furthermore an incredible ice cream parlour (Massimo Gelato). Right across the entrance you’ll find my favourite traiteur and the mini supermarket. The pizzeria restaurant is fantastic as well as the coffeehouse next to it. 400m north you’ll find the Albert Cuyp Market, 400m South the Okura hotel for a real view :) The Amstel (river) lies less than 1 km west and on 1,3 km east you’ll find the Museumplein. You can rent a bike on the corner of the street. Enjoy! Getting around:Perfect by train, metro, tram and... bike!
